The logo and label designs as well as the packaging choices for Kindlewix candles are based on their uncomplicated character and natural fragrance compositions. Soy wax, wood wicks, and made by hand without synthetics.
A split label and vertical type with individual art pieces for each fragrance visually separate Kindlewix from other offerings.
The slab-serif logotype has a physical quality, reminiscent of typewriter type and ink stamping. It's simplified geometric characteristics help bridge the gap between old-school aesthetics and modern day simplicity.
Kindlewix is spelled with an "x" because the letter resembles the shape of the wood wicks used in each candle. It's also used as a secondary mark for the lid and in applications in which an icon or simplified mark is most suitable.
