Frank Magazine
Wireframing, Interactivity, Select Icon Illustrations & Typographic System.
Frank Magazine is Columbia College Chicago's digital magazine. I had the opportunity to work with an awesome team to create the wireframe and style for the first web-based version of the publication.
The first article I was tasked with focused on zines, independent publishing and the culture which surrounds it. We gained great insight from a bookstore owner and a zine maker in Chicago, and each team member picked up a zine and wrote a brief review so we could showcase how interesting and varied each one was.
I was also responsible for the interactive map portion of the magazine, which highlights the team's favorite spots around Chicago.
